Description
OBTs are highly defensive and can bite without warning. They have stronger than average venom and may sprint up tongs and bite when threatened. OBTs are also known to bolt back into their webbed castle when approached.
OBTs are fast-growing, with some slings growing to full size in a year or more. They prefer a terrestrial setup with the opportunity to burrow, and enjoy anchor points like cork, branches, or low foliage to web and create tunnels. They should be kept in a dry substrate with a water dish, and misting is sometimes recommended.
OBTs should be fed fresh prey, but dried and commercial diets can also be used. Prey should be gut-loaded with nutritious foods and supplemented with vitamins and minerals.
