Lyrognathus lessunda is a species of large, grey or black tarantula found on Lombok Island, Indonesia. It has thick brushes of setae along the fourth tibia and metatarsi, and the fourth coxa has a hirsute retrolateral surface. The fourth metatarsus of females has an undivided scopula.
Lyrognathus lessunda was described by Rick C. West and Steven C. Nunn in 2010 as part of a taxonomic revision of the Lyrognathus genus. In the past, it was sold as "Capiz's birdspider". It looks similar to giannisposatoi, but is much smaller and has about 20 other morphological differences.
